Submission & Eligibility Rules

1. Purpose
The Fishlanthropy Foundation provides community-directed charitable assistance to individuals and causes in need. Assistance is distributed periodically based on available funds and community participation mechanisms hosted on affiliated platforms.
Submitting a request does not guarantee assistance.
2. Who May Submit
Submissions may be made by:
- Individuals requesting assistance for themselves, or
- Individuals nominating someone else in need.
Submissions are open to the public.
No account, payment, or crypto wallet is required to submit.
3. Submission Requirements
Each submission must include:
- A brief written explanation or a short video describing the situation
- Selection of the most appropriate category
- Confirmation that the information provided is truthful to the best of the submitter’s knowledge
- Confirmation that the person receiving assistance has given consent (if nominated by another party)
Submissions must relate to genuine financial hardship, emergency need, or community assistance.
4. Prohibited Content
Submissions may not include:
- Sexual or adult content
- Offers of services, content, or favors in exchange for money
- Requests for direct payment from other users
- Payment handles, wallet addresses, or fundraising links
- Misleading, fraudulent, or impersonation content
- Spam, solicitation, or commercial promotion
Submissions violating these rules may be removed without notice.
5. Categories
Each submission must be assigned to one primary category, such as:
- Medical or health-related hardship
- Housing or utilities
- Food insecurity
- Transportation or employment-related need
- Emergency or unexpected hardship
- Community or family assistance
Misclassification may result in removal or reclassification.
6. Community Participation & Advancement
Submissions may be evaluated through community participation mechanisms, including comparison or voting tools, to determine which requests advance for potential assistance.
Advancement indicates community interest only and does not guarantee funding.
7. Duration & Expiration
Submissions remain eligible for consideration for a limited time and may:
- Advance for potential funding,
- Expire automatically, or
- Be removed if found to violate platform rules.
Expired submissions may be resubmitted subject to platform limits.
8. Verification & Payout Eligibility
If a submission is selected for potential assistance:
- The intended recipient may be required to complete identity verification
- A compatible payout method (such as a digital wallet) will be required
- Failure to complete verification may result in funds being reassigned
Verification is required only for recipients selected for assistance.
9. Foundation Discretion & Safeguards
The Fishlanthropy Foundation reserves the right to:
- Delay or withhold assistance for safety, fraud prevention, or legal reasons
- Reassign funds if verification is not completed
- Modify submission limits or participation rules to protect the integrity of the program
All assistance decisions are made in accordance with charitable purpose and available funding.
10. No Guarantees
Submission does not create any entitlement to assistance.
All charitable distributions are subject to available funds, eligibility verification, and Foundation safeguards.
Effective Date
These rules are effective upon publication and may be updated as the program evolves.
