1. Purpose
This Peacemaker Participation Agreement (“Agreement”) governs participation in the Fisheez Peacemaker Program, a community-based dispute review and resolution system operated by Fisheez Public Benefit Corporation (“Fisheez PBC”).
Peacemakers help review disputes, assess evidence, and provide non-binding votes or recommendations within the Fisheez platform.
2. Independent Participant Status
Peacemakers participate as independent community members, not as:
-
employees,
-
contractors,
-
agents,
-
fiduciaries, or
-
volunteers of any charity.
Participation does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship with Fisheez PBC or any affiliated entity.
3. No Guaranteed Compensation
Peacemakers may be eligible for:
-
discretionary platform incentives,
-
recognition,
-
or optional reward programs.
However:
-
rewards are not guaranteed,
-
participation alone does not entitle a Peacemaker to payment,
-
rewards are not wages and may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time.
4. Decision Scope and Authority
Peacemakers:
-
review evidence presented through the platform,
-
vote or recommend outcomes according to program rules,
-
do not issue binding legal judgments.
Final dispute outcomes may be determined by:
-
SmartShell contract logic,
-
aggregated Peacemaker votes,
-
and predefined escalation and fallback rules.
5. Conduct Standards
Peacemakers agree to:
-
act honestly and in good faith,
-
review evidence impartially,
-
avoid conflicts of interest,
-
maintain confidentiality of dispute materials,
-
follow all platform rules and training requirements.
Harassment, bias, manipulation, collusion, or abuse of the system may result in removal.
6. Conflicts of Interest
A Peacemaker must not participate in disputes involving:
-
their own transactions,
-
family members,
-
close associates,
-
businesses they control or materially benefit from.
Failure to disclose conflicts may result in disqualification or permanent removal.
7. Platform Discretion
Fisheez PBC reserves the right to:
-
approve or deny Peacemaker participation,
-
suspend or revoke access at any time,
-
modify program rules, training levels, or eligibility criteria.
No appeal or explanation is required.
8. No Legal, Financial, or Professional Advice
Peacemaker participation does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.
All dispute outcomes are platform-based determinations and should not be relied upon outside the Fisheez system.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peacemakers agree that Fisheez PBC and its affiliates are not liable for:
-
indirect or consequential damages,
-
dissatisfaction with outcomes,
-
loss of rewards or status,
-
decisions made by other participants.
10. Acceptance
By participating as a Peacemaker, completing training, or engaging in dispute review activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
