Peacemaker Program Overview
Peacemaker Rewards & Incentives
Last updated January 7, 2026
Overview
The Fisheez Peacemaker System may include optional rewards or incentives to recognize qualified Peacemakers who participate in dispute resolution.
These incentives exist to support fairness, engagement, and accountability within the system — not to guarantee compensation or employment.
Participation as a Peacemaker does not entitle any individual to payment.
No Guaranteed Compensation
Peacemakers should understand the following clearly:
-
Rewards are not guaranteed
-
Rewards are not wages, fees, or payment for services
-
Rewards may be unavailable during certain periods
-
Rewards may vary in amount, timing, and structure
-
Participation in a dispute does not ensure any payout
Peacemakers participate voluntarily and at their own discretion.
How Rewards May Be Funded
Peacemaker rewards, when offered, may be funded in one or more of the following ways:
Foundation-Funded Rewards
Some reward pools may be funded by the Fishlanthropy Foundation as part of its mission to support fair and ethical dispute resolution.
Foundation-funded rewards:
-
Are discretionary
-
Are independent of SmartShell escrow funds
-
Are not tied to any specific dispute outcome
-
Do not affect voting authority or case handling
Sponsor-Funded Rewards
Some reward pools may be funded through sponsor-supported programs administered by Fisheez PBC.
Sponsor-funded rewards:
-
Are provided through advertising or sponsorship arrangements
-
Do not grant sponsors any influence over disputes
-
Do not affect Peacemaker decisions or eligibility
-
Are governed separately by sponsorship terms
What Rewards Are Based On (High-Level)
When rewards are offered, eligibility may be based on factors such as:
-
Participation in qualifying disputes
-
Compliance with ethical and conflict-of-interest rules
-
Maintaining required certification level
-
Adherence to platform policies
Specific formulas, thresholds, or amounts are not guaranteed and may change.
What Rewards Are NOT
To avoid confusion:
-
Rewards are not payment per vote
-
Rewards are not tied to voting for any specific party
-
Rewards are not guaranteed for every dispute
-
Rewards do not create an employment relationship
Peacemakers must vote independently and based solely on evidence.
Authority and Control
All reward programs are:
-
Separate from SmartShell escrow contracts
-
Executed independently of dispute outcomes
-
Subject to change, suspension, or termination at any time
For binding rules related to dispute resolution, refer to:
-
Terms of Service – Dispute Resolution (Peacemaker System)
-
Peacemaker Governance & Charter
In the event of any conflict, those documents control.
Transparency Commitment
Fisheez is committed to transparency in how Peacemaker programs operate. When rewards are active, general information may be shared regarding funding sources and program structure — without compromising dispute integrity or participant privacy.
