The Fisheez Peacemaker System allows qualified community members to help resolve disputes between Buyers and Sellers in a fair, transparent, and rule-based way.

Peacemakers are not employees of Fisheez. They are verified community participants who review evidence and vote on dispute outcomes according to Fisheez marketplace rules.

All Peacemaker decisions are executed automatically by SmartShell, Fisheez’s non-custodial escrow system.
Peacemakers never touch funds, set payouts, or control escrow directly.

What Peacemakers Do

Peacemakers:

  • Review all evidence submitted in a dispute

  • Ask clarifying questions during the Q&A window

  • Apply Fisheez rules consistently

  • Vote on the outcome: Buyer Wins or Seller Wins

Peacemakers do not touch money, control escrow, negotiate settlements, or override SmartShell logic.

SmartShell handles the money movement automatically.

Why Peacemakers Matter

Unlike other marketplaces that use hidden moderators, Fisheez relies on trained community members.
This ensures:

  • Transparency

  • Community involvement

  • Consistent rule application

  • Fair dispute outcomes

  • No corporate bias or secret decisions

Peacemakers help maintain integrity and trust across the marketplace.

Peacemaker Requirements

Peacemakers are trusted participants in the dispute resolution system and must meet baseline eligibility requirements.

To qualify as a Peacemaker, you must:

  • Have a Fisheez account in good standing

  • Hold an active Shorefront NFT (any tier, including Shorefront 1)

  • Complete required identity verification (KYC)

  • Read the Peacemaker training articles

  • Pass the Level 1 Peacemaker Test

  • Agree to follow Peacemaker conduct and neutrality rules

Peacemakers do not need to actively sell products, but must remain seller-eligible and verified. and clarity.

Peacemaker status is a platform role, not a transferable asset, and may be revoked for policy violations, misconduct, or repeated inaccurate decisions.

What Peacemakers Must Not Do

Peacemakers must not:

  • Give legal advice

  • Use outside laws or personal opinions

  • Communicate with Buyers or Sellers privately

  • Judge based on emotion or sympathy

  • Vote without reviewing the evidence

  • Try to influence other Peacemakers

  • Participate when biased or unsure

Your responsibility is to follow the rules and apply them evenly.

Conflicts of Interest

Peacemakers must not participate if:

  • They are the Buyer or Seller involved in the dispute

  • They personally know the Buyer or Seller

  • They have bought from or sold to them

  • They have promoted their item

  • They interacted with them off-platform

  • They feel emotionally biased

  • They cannot guarantee neutrality

SmartShell automatically blocks Peacemakers who are linked to the listing.

When in doubt: Do not participate.

The Four Key Skills of a Peacemaker

  1. Evidence Review
You must look at all photos, videos, documents, and statements before voting.

  2. Consistency
Apply the same logic to every dispute — no favoritism.

  3. Neutrality
Decisions are based on evidence, not emotion.

  4. Rule Application
Your vote must follow Fisheez marketplace rules and the SmartShell dispute timeline.

Rewards for Participating

Peacemakers may receive:

  • Pearls for reviewing and voting on disputes

  • Eligibility for optional promotional rewards or giveaways

Rewards are based on participation quality and accuracy, not on voting for a particular outcome.

Rewards are not guaranteed and may change over time.
