§10 Category-Specific Provisions

Fisheez maintains strict rules around what can and cannot be listed on the marketplace. These rules protect Buyers, Sellers, Peacemakers, and the broader community from unsafe or unlawful activity.
If an item appears in any prohibited category, it may not be sold on Fisheez, and any related disputes will result in Buyer Wins.

10.1 Absolute Prohibition Categories

The following item types are always prohibited on Fisheez. Listings containing these items will be removed immediately, and the Buyer will receive a full refund if a dispute occurs.

Illegal, Dangerous, or Controlled Items

Weapons, firearms, firearm parts
Ammunition or explosive devices
Hazardous materials or chemicals
Illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia
Medical devices or pharmaceuticals requiring a prescription

Counterfeit or Fraudulent Goods

Knockoff branded items
Replicas or imitation collectibles
Fake authentication documents
Tampered serial-numbered goods

Stolen or Misappropriated Property

Any item obtained unlawfully
Goods claimed to be lost, found, or “unmatched inventory” without proof of ownership

Adult, Harmful, or Restricted Content

Pornographic material
Sexually explicit toys
Violent or hate-promoting content
Human remains or body parts

Financial, Identity, or Access Credentials

Credit cards, IDs, passports
Banking information
Cryptocurrency seed phrases, wallets, or accounts
Software keys or access codes

Unverified High-Risk Goods

Items with safety recalls
Child-safety-noncompliant toys
Dangerous power tools without safety certification

10.2 Category Restrictions (Special Rules Apply)

Some categories are allowed but require strict compliance with Fisheez rules.
These include (examples only):

Collectibles with authentication requirements
Cosmetics, fragrances, and personal care items
Electronics with battery or charging restrictions
Nutrition supplements
Used clothing with hygiene rules
Handmade items requiring proof of originality

10.3 Enforcement & Dispute Outcomes

If an item is found to be prohibited:

✔ Listing is removed

✔ Buyer receives a full refund

✔ Seller may face account warnings or enforcement actions

✔ Peacemakers must vote Buyer Wins

✔ No exceptions, no partial outcomes

The presence of a prohibited item overrides all other evidence and arguments.

10.5 Responsibilities of Sellers

Sellers are responsible for:

Reviewing the full directory before listing items
Ensuring every listing fully complies with platform rules
Removing any items that fall under prohibited categories
Responding promptly to compliance notices

Failure to comply may result in enforcement actions under §15 of the Terms of Service.

10.6 Responsibilities of Peacemakers

Peacemakers must:

Reference the summary and full directory when evaluating a dispute
Classify any prohibited item as a Buyer Wins outcome
Ignore arguments about intent, value, rarity, or good faith
Follow the absolute rules without exception

Prohibited items cannot be sold on Fisheez under any circumstances.

10.7 Unlawful sales of recalled items are prohibited

Please be sure items are safe to use and legal to sell.
