Fisheez AI Privacy & Terms

This policy is incorporated by reference into the Fisheez Terms of Service and SmartShell Escrow Agreement.

1. Overview

Fisheez uses artificial intelligence (“AI”) and automated tools to improve marketplace performance, security, and user experience.

These systems assist with moderation, dispute support, fraud detection, personalization, and translation — but do not make binding or financial decisions on their own.

All final enforcement or dispute outcomes are reviewed by human moderators or Peacemakers (§7).

2. Scope

This document supplements the Fisheez Privacy Policy and Terms of Service and applies to:

• AI tools used in content moderation, live-stream monitoring, and listing review.
• AI-assisted personalization features (search ranking, recommendations, or seller insights).
• AI used in translation, accessibility, or automated summaries.
• Experimental or research features that rely on machine learning or pattern recognition.

3. How AI Is Used

Fisheez may employ AI systems to:

• Flag potential violations of law or policy (e.g., counterfeit goods, hate speech, scams).
• Detect fraud patterns across listings, payments, and user reports.
• Summarize disputes for faster community or admin review.
• Suggest content organization or keyword recommendations to improve listings.
• Enhance accessibility through captioning, speech recognition, or translation.
• Deliver contextual recommendations for products, services, or live events.

AI outputs are advisory and reviewed by humans before any enforcement, removal, or penalty is applied.

4. Data Processing and Privacy

• AI systems may temporarily process listing text, images, video thumbnails, or chat data to detect prohibited material.
• Data used for AI analysis is handled according to the Fisheez Privacy Policy and deleted or anonymized after processing.
• AI models may use aggregated or de-identified data to improve system accuracy; personal identifiers are never retained in model training.
• No AI system at Fisheez records biometric data, voiceprints, or facial recognition information.

5. User Transparency

Users may encounter AI-powered features such as:

• “Suggested title” or “auto-tag” prompts when creating listings.

• “AI Summary” or “Automated Preview” labels on marketplace content.

• “Flagged for Review” indicators during moderation.

  Fisheez will clearly label these features wherever they appear.

  Users can ignore, edit, or override AI suggestions at any time.

6. Limitations & Liability

AI tools are fallible and may produce incorrect, incomplete, or biased outputs.

Fisheez provides all AI systems “as is” and without warranty of accuracy or reliability.

Fisheez PBC and its affiliates are not liable for damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated suggestions, summaries, or content analysis.

Human judgment and community moderation remain the final authority.

7. Human Oversight & Appeals

• All automated flags or content removals are subject to human review.
• Users may dispute or appeal AI-based actions through the Peacemaker System (§7) or by contacting support.
• No permanent account action will occur solely based on AI output.

8. Policy Updates

Fisheez may refine or expand AI features as technology evolves.

Material updates to AI usage or data processing will be reflected in the Privacy Policy and announced publicly.

Continued platform use constitutes acceptance of these updates.
