Shorefront Subscription & Pricing Policy

(Incorporated by reference into the Fisheez Terms of Service, Seller Agreement, Buyer Agreement, and SmartShell Escrow Agreement.)

1. Purpose & Scope

This Policy defines:

  • Shorefront subscription tiers (1–8)
  • Monthly and yearly subscription pricing
  • Listing, streaming, and usage entitlements
  • Pearl-based subscription discounts
  • Peacemaker-based subscription discounts
  • TideTurner-based subscription discounts
  • Overages
  • Upgrade/downgrade rules
  • Billing rules
  • “Best Discount Wins” logic

This Policy applies to all Sellers, Buyers, and Promoters who use Shorefront subscriptions, and is fully binding as part of the Fisheez Terms of Service.

2. What Is a Shorefront Subscription?

A Shorefront subscription is the Seller’s paid (or free) access tier to the Fisheez platform.

Each Shorefront tier unlocks:

  • Monthly listing allotments
  • Monthly live-host hours
  • Monthly viewer-minute allowances
  • Charity votes
  • A seller-side service-fee discount
  • Access to tools, analytics, and platform capabilities
  • NFT ownership requirements (tiers 2–8)

Shorefront tiers represent seller power levels, not audience status.

Users may hold a Shorefront to gain seller benefits and also act as buyers.

3. Tier Structure (1–8)

Below is the canonical, platform-wide Shorefront tier model.

3.1 Shorefront 1 — Free Tier (No NFT Required)

  • Price: $0
  • Listings/month: 25
  • Host hours/month: 1
  • Viewer minutes/month: 60
  • Charity votes: 1
  • Service-fee discount: 0%

Shorefront 1 provides free, entry-level access to seller capabilities on the Fisheez platform.

A Shorefront 1 NFT is available at no cost but is not automatically issued. Users may choose to mint the Shorefront 1 NFT if they wish to activate seller-eligible roles or platform permissions.

Holding a Shorefront 1 NFT is required to:

  • List goods or services

  • Act as a Peacemaker

Holding a Shorefront 1 NFT alone does not require identity verification unless the user engages in activities that trigger KYC requirements under Section 5.

3.2 Shorefront 2–8 — Paid Tiers (NFT Required)

All paid tiers require holding the correct Shorefront NFT in your personal wallet.

4. Discount Systems (Subscription Pricing Only)

Three (3) discount systems exist:

  1. Pearl Discounts
  2. Peacemaker Certification Discounts
  3. TideTurner NFT Discounts

Discounts never stack. Best discount wins.

4.1 Pearl-Based Subscription Discount

If a user has enough Pearls to qualify for a Shorefront tier:

→ They receive 25% off the Monthly OR Yearly subscription price for that tier.

Rules:

  • Applies to any tier the user has enough Pearls to unlock.
  • Applies every time they renew as long as they maintain the Pearl balance.
  • Does not stack with Peacemaker or TideTurner discounts.
  • Pearls have no monetary value and are not transferable.

Pearl thresholds:

  • Shorefront2 → 100 Pearls
  • Shorefront3 → 500
  • Shorefront4 → 2,500
  • Shorefront5 → 5,000
  • Shorefront6 → 10,000
  • Shorefront7 → 15,000
  • Shorefront8 → 20,000

4.2 Peacemaker Certification Discounts

Passing Peacemaker Test Levels unlocks subscription discounts as follows:

Level 1 (L1)

Applies to Shorefront 2:

  • One-time 50% discount on the Yearly price, valid for the first 12 months of the Yearly plan.
    • Must be redeemed within 90 days of passing Level 1, or it expires.
  • 25% discount on the Monthly price, applied on an ongoing basis for as long as the Seller maintains Monthly billing.
    • This monthly discount does not expire and is not limited to the first year.

Levels 2 & 3 (L2 + L3)

Applies to Shorefront 3–8:

  • One-time 50% discount on ANY one Shorefront Yearly subscription (tiers 2–8), valid for the first 12 months of whichever tier the Seller chooses.
    • Must be redeemed within 90 days of passing Level 3, or it expires.
    • This is a single-use discount, not one per tier.
  • 25% discount on Monthly pricing for any Shorefront tier (3–8), applied on an ongoing basis as long as Monthly billing is maintained.
    • This monthly discount does not expire and is not limited to a single year.

General Rules

  • Discounts never stack; the system applies the single highest discount (Pearl, Peacemaker, or TideTurner).
  • Passing Levels 2 and 3 does not grant multiple Yearly discounts — only one 50% Yearly discount total.

4.3 TideTurner NFT Subscription Discounts

If a user holds any TideTurner NFT:

  • They receive 25% off the Monthly OR Yearly price of any Shorefront tier 2–8.

Rules:

  • Does not stack with Pearl or Peacemaker discounts.
  • If a user has Peacemaker L1–3, Peacemaker’s 50% wins for Yearly.
  • If a user has Pearl qualification, that discount only wins if 25% is higher than other options.
  • Best discount wins every time.

5. Billing Rules

5.1 Auto-Renew

All subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled.

5.2 NFT Requirement (Tiers 2–8)

Owning the Shorefront NFT is required to activate Shorefront 2–8.

  • Selling or transferring the NFT ends the subscription at the end of the current billing period.
  • The incoming NFT buyer does not inherit the prior subscription benefits.
  • They must purchase their own subscription.

5.3 Proration

Upgrades may prorate depending on engineering implementation; downgrades take effect next cycle.

5.4 Failed Payment

If a subscription payment fails:

  • Listing limits freeze
  • Host hours freeze
  • Viewer minutes freeze
  • Active listings remain visible but not renewable
  • Re-activation occurs after payment

5.5 Identity Verification (KYC)

Identity verification is required only when users engage in regulated or trust-sensitive activities, including:

  • Listing goods or services for sale

  • Receiving seller payouts

  • Participating as a Peacemaker in dispute resolution

Identity verification is not required for:

  • Browsing or purchasing items

  • Holding TideTurner NFTs

  • Holding a Shorefront NFT without listing activity

Fisheez reserves the right to require identity verification at any time to comply with legal, regulatory, or risk-management obligations.

6. Overages

6.1 Listing Overage

  • $0.30 per extra listing beyond monthly allowance

6.2 Viewer Minute Overage

  • $0.0025 per minute

    or

  • $2.50 per 1,000-minute prepaid pack

6.3 Live Host Hour Overage

  • Rate defined per-tier in platform documentation
  • Hours tracked in real-time
  • Engineered as a usage-based micro-fee

7. Best Discount Wins Logic

For subscription pricing, the system evaluates:

  • Pearl-based 25% discount (if qualified)
  • Peacemaker discount (25% monthly or 50% yearly)
  • TideTurner discount (25%)

The system picks:

→ the highest valid discount

→ applies it

→ ignores all others

No stacking.

No combining.

This Policy is fully incorporated into:

  • Seller Agreement
  • Buyer Agreement
  • SmartShell Escrow Agreement
  • Dispute Resolution & Refund Policy
  • Peacemaker Governance & Charter
  • Promoter Program Terms
  • Prohibited Items & Category Rules
  • NFT, Crypto & Payment Policy
  • Privacy Policy

In the event of conflict, the Terms of Service governs.

9. Acceptance

Using a Shorefront subscription or upgrading your tier constitutes:

  • acceptance of this Policy
  • agreement to the discount logic
  • acknowledgment that pricing and entitlements are automated
  • acknowledgment that benefits are contingent on holding the correct NFT
