This Classifieds Disclaimer applies to all listings, communications, and interactions within the Classifieds section of the Fisheez platform (“Classifieds”).
Classifieds are informal, user-driven postings designed to facilitate direct communication between users. All interactions occur directly between users and are undertaken at the users’ own risk.
The platform does not verify listings, users, credentials, claims, or outcomes.
1. Nature of Classifieds
Classifieds function as a bulletin-style listing and discovery feature only.
The platform does not act as:
- A broker, agent, employer, or intermediary
- A marketplace operator for Classifieds
- A payment processor for Classifieds interactions
- A guarantor of performance, safety, or legitimacy
Any fee charged for posting a Classifieds listing is solely a posting or access fee and does not alter the platform’s role or responsibilities.
2. Posting Fees & Free Posting Options
Certain Classifieds categories may require either:
- A flat posting fee (e.g., $5), or
- Submission of a trusted external social or professional link for free posting eligibility
Posting fees:
- Apply only to the act of posting or visibility
- Are not transaction fees
- Do not indicate platform participation in any resulting interaction
- Are non-refundable unless required by law
Free posting options do not imply endorsement, verification, or reduced risk.
3. User-to-User Communication & Email Requirement
To contact a Classifieds poster or respond to a listing, users may be required to provide a valid email address.
By using Classifieds, you acknowledge that:
- Communications occur directly between users
- Contact information may be shared with another user for the purpose of responding to a listing
- The platform does not monitor, screen, or control user communications
Users are responsible for deciding what information to share and with whom.
4. Personal Safety & Risk Assumption
You are solely responsible for your personal safety, financial decisions, and risk assessment when using Classifieds.
Users are expected to:
- Exercise caution when communicating with unknown individuals
- Avoid sharing sensitive personal, financial, or identifying information
- Meet in public, well-lit locations when meeting in person
- Independently verify claims, identities, and legitimacy
The platform does not conduct background checks or identity verification for Classifieds users.
5. No Verification or Endorsement
The platform does not:
- Verify listings, offers, or requests
- Confirm accuracy, legality, or completeness of content
- Endorse any listing, user, or opportunity
- Guarantee outcomes, availability, or responses
Listings appear solely based on user submission and applicable posting rules.
6. Off-Platform Activity
Any meetings, communications, payments, agreements, or transactions that occur outside the platform are the sole responsibility of the users involved.
The platform:
- Does not monitor off-platform activity
- Does not enforce private agreements
- Does not provide mediation, refunds, or protection
- Is not liable for outcomes resulting from off-platform interactions
Users must independently evaluate risk before proceeding.
7. Reporting & Moderation
Users are encouraged to report:
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading listings
- Unsafe, abusive, or predatory behavior
- Violations of Classifieds rules or platform policies
The platform may remove listings or restrict access to protect users and platform integrity, but is not obligated to proactively monitor Classifieds content.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for:
- Losses, damages, or disputes between users
- Fraud, misrepresentation, or theft
- Personal injury or property damage
- Financial loss or missed opportunities
Use of Classifieds is at your own risk.
9. Acceptance
By posting, responding to, or interacting with Classifieds listings, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Classifieds are user-driven and unverified
- The platform is not a party to any Classifieds interaction
- You assume all risks associated with Classifieds use
If you do not agree to this Disclaimer, you must not use Classifieds.
