Classifieds Safety & Conduct

This policy outlines expected safety practices and conduct standards for all users who post, respond to, or interact with listings in the Classifieds section of the platform (“Classifieds”).

Classifieds are informal, user-to-user postings. All interactions occur directly between users and are conducted at their own risk.

1. Personal Safety Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for their own safety when interacting through Classifieds.

You are expected to:

• Use caution when communicating with unknown individuals
• Avoid sharing sensitive personal, financial, or identifying information
• Meet in public, well-lit locations when meeting in person
• Trust your instincts and disengage if something feels unsafe

The platform does not verify identities, backgrounds, qualifications, or intentions of Classifieds users.

2. No Facilitation of Harmful or Exploitative Activity

Users may not use Classifieds to promote, solicit, or facilitate:

• Sexual exploitation, escorting, prostitution, or trafficking
• Coercive, manipulative, or predatory behavior
• Harassment, stalking, threats, or intimidation
• Abuse of minors or vulnerable individuals
• Illegal or regulated activities

Attempts to bypass moderation through coded language, euphemisms, symbols, or indirect phrasing are treated as violations.

3. Respectful Conduct

All Classifieds interactions must be conducted respectfully and in good faith.

Prohibited behavior includes:

• Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory language
• Repeated unwanted contact after a clear refusal
• Intimidation, pressure tactics, or emotional manipulation
• Spam, mass solicitation, or automated outreach

Disagreements should be handled calmly or avoided entirely by disengaging.

4. No Impersonation or Misrepresentation

You may not:

• Impersonate another person, business, or organization
• Falsely claim credentials, licenses, or affiliations
• Misrepresent the nature of a job, opportunity, or request
• Post misleading offers intended to redirect users elsewhere

Listings and communications must accurately reflect intent.

5. Off-Platform Interactions

Any meetings, communications, payments, or agreements that occur outside the platform are entirely the responsibility of the users involved.

The platform:

• Does not monitor off-platform interactions
• Does not enforce private agreements
• Does not provide mediation or protection

Users should independently evaluate risk before proceeding offline.

6. Reporting & Community Protection

Users are encouraged to report:

• Unsafe, suspicious, or predatory behavior
• Harassment or threats
• Listings that appear fraudulent or exploitative
• Content involving prohibited categories

Reports help maintain a safer environment and may result in moderation action.

7. Enforcement

The platform may take action to protect users and community integrity, including:

• Removing listings or content
• Limiting or suspending Classifieds access
• Restricting accounts that pose safety risks
• Cooperating with law enforcement when legally required

Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent removal from Classifieds or the platform.

8. Acceptance of Risk

By using Classifieds, you acknowledge that:

• Interactions are user-driven and unverified
• Safety decisions are your responsibility
• The platform is not liable for user conduct or outcomes

If you do not agree with these safety and conduct expectations, you must not use Classifieds.
